Compassion & Justice Conference 2026

The FaithWorks Compassion & Justice Conference 2026 will bring together people and organizations from different backgrounds to worship, grow, pray, and take action, focused around racial justice.

You will have the opportunity to hear and learn from the prophetic and diverse voices of leading advocates, pastors, and practitioners who will focus on different aspects of Racial Justice. 

We'll hear from Malcolm Foley, pastor and author of The Anti-Greed Gospel, on racial justice from an African-American perspective; Robert P. Jones, author of White Too Long and The Hidden Roots of White Supremacy, will speak from a white Christian perspective; Agustín Quiles will speak from a Latino perspective on the work of mobilizing the Latino Church in Florida to work for justice. Rev. Bethany Molinar and Rev. Lori Tapia will preach to challenge and inspire us in the work of racial justice.

The Chaplin Cotillions - A Texas tradition for 60 years

Classes will meet on Tuesdays in the Community Center on Riverbend Campus.

Our cotillion program builds self-confidence by leading students through a series of structured, upbeat lessons while giving positive reinforcement and encouragement. Young ladies and gentlemen will learn lessons which will help them be successful in life and maximize their future. In our higher grade classes, the End of Season Celebration is capped off by a Candlelight Dinner Dance. Instruction in table etiquette, as well as conversation and basic dinner courtesies are taught while enjoying dinner and dancing.

Camp Doublecreek - off campus - drop/off & pickup at Riverbend

Riverbend will be a drop/off & pickup location for Camp Doublecreek. The camps runs weekly - Monday-Friday beginning on Monday, June 2, 2025 and ending on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Campers should arrive between 7:45-8am to meet their transportation for camp. They will return for pickup around 5pm each weekday.

Camp Doublecreek is an unplugged, weeklong, completely outdoors day camp. We keep your child active & entertained all day long.

Kids will be engaged all day with tons of fun camp games, arts & crafts, archery, water activities, and sports. They will be challenged to learn new skills and have a blast making lots of life long friends.
